
The Mandalorian (also known as Star Wars: The Mandalorian) is out with its first official trailer which has taken the internet and star-wars fans with frenzy!
Set in the Star Wars universe, the series will take place five years after the events of Return of the Jedi and follows a lone Mandalorian gunfighter beyond the reaches of the New Republic. The new series will take place five years after the events of “Return of the Jedi,” which saw the destruction of the Empire and gave way to the New Republic.
Jon Favreau served as a writer, creator, and showrunner and will executive produce alongside Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy, and Colin Wilson. Disney dropped the first trailer for the spinoff series during its biennial D23 convention, finally giving fans a closer look at the franchise’s newest character.
The show is set to star Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Nick Nolte, Giancarlo Esposito, Emily Swallow, Carl Weathers, Omid Abtahi, and Werner Herzog.
There will be eight episodes in the first season. The film is a space-opera web television series scheduled to premiere on Disney+ on November 12, 2019.
