CBS Films has released the brand new teaser trailer for 'The Duff', which is based on the novel by Kody Keplinger. This film adaptation is scheduled to hit theaters in 2015.

The story follows a high school senior whose world is turned upside down when she learns that her group of friends has labeled her the DUFF (designated ugly fat friend) — a sidekick to her prettier, more popular friends. She becomes determined to reinvent herself — and enlist her fellow DUFFs — in a scheme to overthrow the school’s evil queen.

The film stars Mae Whitman, Robbie Amell, Bella Thorne, Bianca Santos, Skyler Samuels, Nick Eversman, Alison Janney, Romany Malco and Ken Jeong.

The Duff is directed by Academy Award winner director Ari Sandel from a screenplay written by Josh Cagan.
