Marvel's "Daredevil" star Charlie Cox has discussed the likelihood that he could appear in future Avengers films.
Netflix will be kicking off a series of inter-connected Marvel Cinematic Universe miniseries with "Daredevil" later this week.
"I have no idea if this is even a possibility, but I can tell you that I would love nothing more. I don't see why the character from our show couldn't fit in with the Avengers, if he was invited," he said.
The actor later hinted: "I really think Chris Evans does an amazing job as Captain America, and I happen to think him and Daredevil would work well together. Other than that, Black Widow? Can you blame me?"
Cox has also expressed interest in joining Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr, Chadwick Boseman and Jeremy Renner in "Captain America: Civil War".
It was announced earlier today that "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" directors Anthony and Joe Russo will take over as stewards of Marvel's two-part "Avengers: Infinity War" film from Joss Whedon.
Marvel's "Daredevil" will subsequently lead directly into shows based around Jessica Jones, Iron Fist and Luke Cage, with a Defenders miniseries bringing them all together.
Cox was recently asked about the likelihood of Daredevil appearing in an upcoming Avengers movie during a Reddit AMA session.
