
Bruce Beresford-Redman, the co-creator and executive producer of MTV's Pimp My Ride and a former producer of Survivor, has been in a Mexican jail for 4 years after his wife was found murdered in Mexico, has been found guilty. A judge in Mexico sentenced Beresford-Redman to 12 years in prison for murdering Monica.
Bruce and his wife Monica, were vacationing in Mexico. They were staying in a hotel, where couple had a fight over some personal issue. Later Monica disappeared.
Later her body was discovered in sewer of the hotel, where the 2 were vacationing. Autopsy confirmed that Monica was strangled.
Mónica Burgos, Brazilian national, married Bruce in 1999, the couple had two children, who live with their paternal grandparents.
Beresford-Redman will receive credit for the 4 years he has already served. His lawyers say they will appeal the conviction.
