The second trailer for Avengers: Infinity War was viewed 179 million times in its first 24 hours, becoming the third-biggest trailer release in history, according to Disney and Marvel Studios.

The record-holder for the biggest trailer release is the first trailer for Infinity War, which racked up 230 million views in its first 24 hours in November. Coming in second place is the first trailer for New Line and Warner Bros.' It. That trailer was watched 197 million times in its first day.
Infinity War is also racking up pre-sales records. It has become theater chain AMC's biggest-selling superhero movie after 72 hours, more than tripling the record held by fellow Marvel movie Black Panther, which opened last month. Last week, it took just six hours for Infinity War to become ticket seller Fandango's fastest-selling superhero movie in the first 24 hours.
The film is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, with a screenplay by the writing team of Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, and features an ensemble cast including Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Don Cheadle, Tom Holland, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Danai Gurira, Letitia Wright, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Josh Brolin, and Chris Pratt, among other actors from previous MCU films.
In Avengers: Infinity War, the Avengers join forces with the Guardians of the Galaxy to stop Thanos, who is trying to collect the Infinity Stones. The Avengers: Infinity War opens April 27.
