
Vampire Academy’s Zoey Deutch has landed a role opposite Zac Efron and Robert De Niro in Lionsgate comedy Dirty Grandpa. Dan Mazer is directing from a screenplay by John Phillips, while Bill Block, Jason Barrett, Barry Josephson and Michael Simkin are producing.
Deutch is coming off a turn in Richard Linklater’s baseball film That’s What I’m Talking About. She recently joined crime drama Vincent-N-Roxxy with Zoe Kravitz and Emile Hirsch. TV credits include The Suite Life on Deck, Ringer, and Switched at Birth. Deutch is repped by CAA, Gilbertson Entertainment and Morris Yorn Barnes Levine Krintzman Rubenstein Kohner & Gellman. Lionsgate has already set an August 12, 2016 release for the QED and Ninjas Running Wild comedy.
