Handsome, versatile and charismatic actor Wesley Snipes, who slayed Vampires in “Blade” series turns 53 today! Here wishing this handsome actor, a very happy birthday!

At age twelve, he began training in and eventually achieving black belts in multiple forms of martial arts. He debuted in the 1986 film, Wildcats.

A prolific action movie star, Snipes is best known to comic book fans as Blade from Marvel Comics’ Blade films. As the lethal vampire hunter, Snipes starred in Blade, Blade II, and Blade: Trinity.

In fact, Snipes is so linked to the live-action version of Blade, that rumors have broken that he could reprise the role in an upcoming Marvel Studios production.

He was in the music video for the song, "Bad" with Michael Jackson.

Lately Wesley got into trouble for not paying taxes, and began serving a three year prison sentence at the end of 2010.

He dated singer Jennifer Lopez from 1994 to 1995. He married Nikki Park in 2003. He has four sons named Jelani, Akhenaten, Alaafia and Alimayu and a daughter named Iset.
