The trailer for the 2015 family comedy 'Minions' has arrived online offering us a history lesson narrated by Geoffrey Rush and a few bananas along the way.

Our first look at the film takes way, way back to a time when the Minions rose out of the sea, fully formed, in search of a big bad boss to serve.  From the dawn of the dinosaurs through the Middle Ages and beyond, these yellow underlings have long searched for the right master to call their own before winding up in New York for their fateful encounter with Gru in 1968.  

The movie features the voices of Steve Carell who returns once again as Gru, with Sandra Bullock voicing super-villain Scarlett Overkill and Jon Hamm as her inventor husband Herb Overkill.

Minions is slated to release from Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment on July 10, 2015.
