Patrick Stewart has joined the cast of Jeremy Saulnier's crime thriller “Green Room,” which serves as the writer-director's follow-up to his acclaimed revenge movie “Blue Ruin,” Patrick Stewart to portray a white supremacist in “Green Room” opposite Anton Yelchin.
Stewart will play the leader of a ferocious white supremacist fiefdom based in the Pacific Northwest. Imogen Poots, Alia Shawkat, Joe Cole, Callum Turner, Mark Webber, Kai Lennox, Eric Edelstein and Macon Blair also star.
The thriller centers on a punk rock band finding themselves trapped in a secluded venue after stumbling upon a horrific act of violence. They then must fight for their lives against a gang of white power skinheads. The producers are planning to release the film in 2015
