
Twerking superstar Miley Cyrus continues in full world tour promoting her latest and successful studio album “Bangerz“. During her last concert in Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne on 10 October, the singer announced to all her fans that she plans to release a new album in the coming weeks.
This album will consist of own covers of tracks original from other artists. She also said that all the money raised will be to help different animal welfare groups / institutions for animals. She also said that it will not be a solo project.
The lead single from the album is a collaboration with psychedelic rock band The Flaming Lips called “Lucy In the Sky with Diamonds“, original track recorded by The Beatles and released in 1967.
The track also with the collaboration of Moby will be included on The Flaming Lips’ forthcoming Beatles tribute album “With a Little Help From My Fwends“.
In this album, Miley also collabored in another cover called “A Day In the Life” with the collaboration of New Fumes.
“With a Little Help From My Fwends” will be released on digital retailers on October 28th.
