Adele cried ‘All day’ after her Grammy performance; confesses at Romedy NOW’s ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’

Gorgeous singer and songwriter Adele, who recently went through an embarrassing moment while performing at the Grammy 2016 shared that she cried all day because of the incident.

On Romedy NOW’s ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’, Adele talked to Ellen about what happened and how she spent the day after crying.  Adele shared that she still gets stage fright and says that next time she has any sound issues, she will stop and start over.

On Monday, 15th February, while performing on ‘All I Ask’ at the Grammy’, Adele struggled with mic problems throughout and ended up getting into an upsetting situation.

The amazing Adele joined “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” for her first exclusive sit down interview since performing at the 58th Annual Grammy Awards.

“Sound check was great on that day. Went really well. I was really excited, and then during the changeover the microphones fell onto the piano strings which is what the guitar noise was. Some people thought it was Bieber rehearsing, but it wasn’t him. We’re on great terms. And then it kind of put the whole thing off really,” she recalled on the Romedy NOW show.

She further added, “I heard it straight away. And I wanted to turn, I knew what it was because in rehearsal on Saturday they were like we’re going to double mic the piano just in case one doesn’t work. And I knew where the mic was and I wanted to turn around and lift it up, but I froze. But I actually felt like it went well. In the room they actually sorted the problem and I’m always a bit pitchy anyways so I wasn’t particularly.. I am! It’s emotion. It’s emotion. When I’m flat and I’m sharp I’m just emotional but it was fine. I wanted to tell everyone straight away because it seemed to be a lot of confusion about what it was. I was embarrassed.”

Adele woke up the next morning to people in England saying things like, “We still love you, don’t worry!” The singer felt worse after that and as the impeccable host Ellen puts it, “That is the worst feeling. When you’re already going through questioning what happened and then people start trying to make you feel better and it only makes you feel worse.”

To watch Adele share a lot more about her life and the incident, watch the full episode of ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ only on Romedy NOW at 7pm on 19th Feb,2016
