The VFX of YPD Films (UK) in association with Sunny Sounds’ Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 is in progress at Prime Focus Studios. Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 (also known by the abbreviated form YPD2), is an upcoming bollywood action comedy film directed by Sangeeth Sivan, and the sequel to the 2011 hit film, Yamla Pagla Deewana. After the tremendous success of Yamla Pagla Deewana, the main star Dharmendra announced that he wishes to create a sequel. However, the director of the original, Samir Karnik opted out of the sequel, therefore Sangeeth Sivan was hired to write and direct the sequel

The film features Sunny Deol, Dharmendra and Bobby Deol from the previous film along with Neha Sharma and Kristina Akheeva (debuting in this film) as the female leads. The film also features actors like Anupam Kher, Johny Lever and Sucheta Khanna. The filming began in 17 September 2012 in Leicester, United Kingdom.

The music of the film is given by Toshi-Sharib and Sachin Gupta (Punjabiyaan di battery fame). The theatrical trailer unveiled on 27th March 2013, on whilst the film is expected to release on 7th June 2013.
