
Bollywood actress Rani Mukherjee who is all excited with an exceptional response of her movie ’Mardani 2’ says that, it’s not just till the movie, but she’ll keep empowering the women of our country in future too. She further added that she feels proud when she is been called by the police force of various cities to encourage their women police officers as well as trainees.
Rani Mukherjee was interacting with the media on Monday in Mumbai.
Rani Mukerji is back again as Inspector Shivani Roy in ‘Mardaani 2’. The actress has reprised the role of the fearless and committed Superintendent of Police in the film. The film is a sequel to the 2014 film ‘Mardaani’. The film addresses the dangerous societal issue of rape cases in India that are being committed by juveniles.
When asked, after the release of ‘Mardani 2’ women are considering her as their role model, on this Rani said, “I always wanted to convey a message about women empowerment to all my sisters and female friends of our country. I am contented that through my films I have succeeded in doing that.
Women after watching ’Mardani 2’ are feeling empowered and urged. This is a very heartwarming response for me. But it’s not just upto films, I’ll keep empowering the women of our country in future too. I extremely feel proud when I am called by the police force of various cities to encourage their women police officers as well as trainees.”
