Actress Vidya Balan who had visited the sets of MasterChef season 6 to promote her upcoming film Kahaani 2  spoke about how effective had been the new poster of Kahaani 2 which shows her as a wanted criminal “Durga Rani Singh”.

 Vidya narrated an interesting incident related to her new film poster of the film Kahaani 2.
“There is a girl in our house who takes care of our house.While she was serving the food she asked me ,Didi is there any problem here?My brother told me false criminal charges of kidnapping and murder have been put on you.Then, I realised that the poster worked effectively.”

She also spoke about showing the poster to her husband Sidharth Roy Kapoor who is the head of Disney India and UTV motion pictures.

“ I showed the poster  to my husband when he went to sleep .After that he kept on checking in case I am not bringing out a knife or something”,she laughed off.

Vidya’s co-star in Kahaani 2 will be actor Arjun Rampal.She shared her experience of working with the hunky actor for the first time.

The Hamari Adhuri Kahaani actress said,“I have met Arjun Rampal many times in film award functions as if we knew each other very well.When we finally worked together in the film we got a chance to know each other pretty well.He is very chilled out .He is great fun.”

On being asked about the current Pak artiste ban situation Vidya opened up her feelings saying,
“I really hope Ae Dil Hai Mushkil releases and everyone watches the film in theatres very comfortably.When the film was being made the situation was good .

Now the situation has changed and then while shooting for the film Karan Johar had no idea about such problems.The decision of Government will be respected in future but as of now I really hope Ae Dil Hai Mushkil releases and does very well.”

Kahaani 2 is an upcoming Indian thriller film directed by Sujoy Ghosh and produced by Ghosh and Jayantilal Gada. The film features Vidya Balan and Arjun Rampal in lead roles.The film is slated to  release on 2 nd December 2016.
