After dropping a stunning and spooky trailer of Bhoot Part One- The Haunted Ship, the makers of the film are out with first ever special behind the camera making of the horror ride and how the lead actor Vicky Kaushal overcame his two biggest fears – Water and Ghost.
The actor Vicky Kaushal dropped the new Bhoot making video on his social media profile. He captioned it, “Nightmare turned into a dream! Faced many of my own fears while filming #Bhoot ... Watch the making! #TheHauntedShip @karanjohar @apoorvamehta18 @bhumipednekar @Bps_91 @ShashankKhaitan @NotSoSnob @DharmaMovies @ZeeStudios_ @ZeeMusicCompany”
In the video, Vicky Kaushal is seen saying, “There was a really untapped territory for me, which I was really excited to explore. Horror genre grammar is completely different. So you have to be on the stop and only than we can get the reaction which we’re expecting the audience to give”
“I had to do underwater scenes for this movie and I was panicked and scared. I couldn’t really deliver anything on the first day. So they had to build in a special stool for me to stand on, otherwise I would just panic”
It's not every day that you get to conquer your fears with this much enthusiasm but Vicky Kaushal made it look 'horrifyingly' easy and inspiring. The actor who is afraid of both ghosts and water got on board - Bhoot: The Haunted Ship.
Bhoot – Part One: The Haunted Ship is directed by Bhanu Pratap Singh and jointly produced by Karan Johar, Hiroo Yash Johar, Apoorva Mehta and Shashank Khaitan. It is based on a true accident that took place in Mumbai, and tells the story of a couple on an abandoned ship lying static on a beach.
The film features Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar and Ashutosh Rana in lead roles, and is the first film of a planned horror film franchise.
It is scheduled to be theatrically released in India on February 21, 2020.
