The VFX of Maruti International’s Super Nani is in progress at Pixion Studios. Produced by Indra Kumar and Ashok Thakeria and directed by the former, the film features Rekha, Randhir Kapoor, Sharman Joshi and Shweta Kumar. Anupam Kher is also going to be a part of this film.

One of the best dancers of her era, Rekha, last seen grooving to a dance number in the title track of Farah Khan’s directorial debut film Om Shanti Om which featured the leggy actress Deepika Padukone and the Badshah of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan, will once again put on her dancing shoes for forthcoming movie Super Nani.

A film on women's empowerment, Super Nani shows how a grandson inspires his grandmother to do something worthwhile in life. Rekha, 58, is playing Sharman Joshi's grandma in the Indra Kumar directed movie.
