The VFX of Maruti International?s Grand Masti is underway at Pixion Studios. Produced by Ashok Thakeria and directed by Indra Kumar, the film features Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi, Aftab Shivdasani, Manjari Phadnis, Karishma Tanna, Sonalee, Kainaat Arora, Bruna Abdalah, Maryam Zakaria, Suresh Menon and Pradeep Rawat. Grand Masti (formerly known as Masti 2) is an upcoming Bollywood adult comedy film presented by Bharat Shah, Bharat Shah is a Diamond merchant & a film producer & investor too. His name was linked with underworld during the movie of Chori Chori Chupke Chupke.

The production of the film was to begin throughout the first week of August 2012, though because of actor Riteish Deshmukh's father Vilasrao Deshmukh's critical health condition, the film's commencement was put off by a few days.

Says a source close to the project, "Grand Masti, the sequel to Masti has been in the writing process for the last one and a half years. Finally writer Milap Zaveri cracked an idea and scripted the sequel. The film brings back theRiteish Deshmukh-Aftab Shivdasani-Vivek Oberoi trio, along with four new girls.
