The VFX of Viacom 18 Motion Pictures’ Boss is underway at FutureWorks Studios. Boss (also known as Naam Hai Boss) is an upcoming action drama film directed by Anthony D'Souza, who had earlier directed Blue (2009). The film will be produced by Akshay Kumar & Ashwin Varde, and feature's Akshay Kumar, Mithun Chakraborty, Shiv Pandit and Aditi Rao Hydari in lead roles along with Johnny Lever, Danny Denzongpa and Parikshit Sahni in supporting roles. The film will have an special track which will be choreographed by Prabhu Deva, and is expected to release on 18 October 2013. It is a remake of 2010 Malayalam action masala movie Pokkiri Raja.

Akshay will play a kind hearted gangster and Mithun Chakraborty will play his father. Danny Denzongpa will be playing his mentor. Ronit Roy will play a ruthless police officer against Boss.  It is for the first time that Aditi Rao Hydari and Akshay Kumar have been paired opposite each other.
