Varun Dhawan has kick-started the shooting for Judwaa 2 on February 3, the same day when the original Judwaa went on floors.

David Dhawan, who last directed Main Tera Hero in 2014, rolled his film with son Varun yesterday in Mumbai, in presence of his family, producer Sajid Nadiadwala and others. The sequel has kick-started with Varun dancing on a Ganpati song.

Interestingly, as Judwaa completes 20 years on February 7, producer Sajid Nadiadwala will be hosting a lunch party which will reunite the crew that was a part of the 1997 blockbuster. Salman Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Rambha and other are said to be attending the party.

Judwaa 2 is an action comedy film directed by David Dhawan, starring Varun Dhawan in a double role as estranged twins opposite Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu.

It is currently scheduled for release in 2017.
