News Helpline | March, 13 2015

Vikram Bhatt is all set with his superhero fantasy film, ‘Mr.X’ which he will be directing. The action- thriller will be shown in 3D format as well. All of his last few films like Haunted, Dangerous Ishq, Raaz 3, and Creature have also been released in 3D formats and most of these films have done significant business at the box-office.
There is no other director or production house which has shown such proficiency and efficiency with the 3D genre. Films like, ‘Ra.One’ which released in 3D were expected to fetch better returns at the box-office but their performance considering this weren’t anything great. Many other filmmakers mulled over releasing films in 3D but changed their mind at the last moment due to the failure of the 3D films. But Vikram Bhatt’s 3D films have both been appreciated by critics, technicians as well as fans.
Vikram Bhatt is of the opinion that he is the best in India in terms of making films in 3D. Recently at an event of music launch of ‘Mr. X’, he was quoted, ‘I selected 3D in India as there is no competition for me in 3D and it’s something new in Bollywood.’
Mr. X will see him reunite with Bhatts’ Vishesh Films after Raaz 3. This film will also see him collaborating with Emraan Hashmi after the same movie. The film also stars Amyra Dastur and Arunoday Singh.
