It is going to be a year next month since the great actor Irrfan Khan left us. His demise left a void in the industry and till date his fans and his colleagues remember him and miss him. He left for heavenly abode on 29 April, 2020. The actor's contribution to cinema was honoured recently in the Filmfare Awards and he was also given Filmfare Best Actor Award for his work in Angrezi Medium.

Babil Khan, his son accepted the award on his behalf and it was an overwhelming moment for Irrfan's family. Now the makers of the film 'Maddock Films' have written an emotional note thanking the late actor for his contribution and celebrating his win.

The post said, "Celebrating this win and remembering the last, from one milestone to another, you took the world by storm with your limitless talent. We are so honoured to be a part of your cinematic journey. But specially a big thank you for so much more, for celebrating life and laughing through it all. The actor had earlier won Filmfare Best Actor award for Hindi Medium in the year 2018 and now for its sequel Angrezi Medium in 2021.

Babil wore his father's ensemble when he attended the award show. He shared the glimpse of his mother Sutapa getting him ready for the big day and the family gave a special thanks to Irrfan's fans all over for supporting them and loving them with so much warmth.

Angrezi Medium is Irrfan's last film before his demise and this film will remain special for his fans all over the world.
