Actor Vinod Khanna who is well known for his good looks and the amazing acting skills passes away at the age of 70.
Vinod Khanna has worked in more than 100 films, and was an active politician, and Member of Parliament from Gurdaspur, Punjab.
He had made his film debut in 1968 with Mann Ka Meet, and later on he went on to becoming a star.
After making his debut in 1968, Khanna first acted in small second lead roles or negative roles. His angry young man role in the super hit movie Mere Apne, his negative role as the main villain in the super hit movie Mera Gaon Mera Desh and his role in the critically acclaimed movie Achanak as the military officer turned fugitive received tremendous applause from both- the film industry and his fans
His performance in films like Amar Akbar Anthony, Lahu ke Do Rang, Qurbani were also appreciated.
Khanna was popularly hailed as one of the most handsome lead actors ever in Bollywood.
In 1982 he gave up films to join his spiritual guru Osho Rajneesh at his ashram. After staying away from the industry for five years he started working in films again and gave two super hits, Insaaf and Satyamev Jayate.
Even with his busy life as a politician he did not give up on films, he worked in many films and his performance was loved by everyone. He was last seen in the film ‘Dilwale’ which was directed by Rohit Shetty.
Before some days a picture of him went viral on internet in which he was looking very pale, the actor was battling from cancer from many years and took his last breath on 27th April 2017.
