A murder mystery based in a middle-class housing society in Mumbai called Sunflower has been renewed for the second season, and the first teaser for the same is out, starring Sunil Grover in the lead role.

The teaser opens with Sunil Grover as Sonu, getting arrested by inspector Digendra and Tambe, and then we’re show someone using knife, hammer and other weapons to kill someone. 
 
Sunflower is a black comedy ZEE5 original web series directed by Vikas Bahl and Rahul Sengupta. Produced by Reliance Entertainment, the series stars Sunil Grover in the lead role as Sonu. 
 
The cast includes actors like Ranvir Shorey, Girish Kulkarni, Mukul Chadda, Shonali Nagrani, Sonal Jha and Ashish Vidyarthi.
 
The first season was released in 2021, and received generally positive reviews from critics and audience. It was praised for its direction, writing and acting performances.
 
The release date of second season has not been announced.
