Two song sequences are going to be shot for Tips Industries’ Phata Poster Nikla Hero in Capetown. The cast has started to shoot for one of the sings today. The film is produced by Ramesh S Taurani and directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. The film was supposed to go on floors in November after Shahid would complete Maneesh Sharma’s film, but later Shahid backed out of that project so the filming of Phata Poster Nikla Hero began early.

Phata Poster Nikhla Hero is an upcoming Bollywood romantic comedy film starring Shahid Kapoor and Ileana D'Cruz who was last seen in Barfi! opposite the charming star Ranbir Kapoor in the main lead. The film also features Padmini Kolhapuri in a supporting role. The film will be produced by Ramesh Taurani of Tips Music Films and directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, who earlier directed films such as Ghayal (1990), Andaz Apna Apna (1994), Khakee (2004) and Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani (2009). The film is already on floors and will be released on 23 August 2013.
