On Saturday, Sonali Bendre, Krishika Lulla, Shaina NC and Amol Gupte were present at Jhelum, The Multi-Designer Fashion House to promote handloom designer collection.

Actress Sonali Bendre said, ‘The collection which has been showcased here is really good. It has been curated well. Some handloom sarees and clothes are really interesting. Personally, I like to wear natural fabrics with minimalistic look. In personal life, I like to wear simple clothes and according me, style statement is that in which you feel comfortable and love wearing the outfit”.

Designer Shana NC said, “Under ‘Make In India’ initiative, it is very important to focus on handloom industry and that’s why we have organized this collection from handloom workers of Maharashtra, Kutch and Jharkhand. Our main aim is to provide platform to handloom industry workers which can give them financial support and employment opportunities”.

Director Amol Gupte said, “Collection is aesthetic and beautiful and I feel happy because handloom workers are getting due credit for their work as they represent our Indian culture and tradition”.

Amol Gupte also talked about his upcoming films, His film ‘Sniff’ shoot has been completed and it is in post production stage. It’s a child detective movie. And other than this, He also planning to make biopic on star badminton player Saina Nehwal for which she has given her nod. It’s still in scripting stage.
