Another shooting schedule of Gulab Gang began today at Film City Studio, Goregaon Mumbai. Madhuri Dixit was spotted wearing a pink sari on the sets. Gulaab Gang is an upcoming Indian Hindi drama film directed by a debutant director Soumik Sen and produced by Anubhav Sinha, starring Madhuri Dixit and Juhi Chawla in the lead roles.

The film is based on Gulabi Gang, a group of Indian women vigilantes and activists dressed in pink saris, fighting against the social injustice and operating in the Bundelkhand region of central India. The film is produced by director Anubhav Sinha. Sinha is known for directing a romantic film Tum Bin (2001) and lately for a science-fiction superhero film Ra.One (2011). Soumik Sen, who has previously been credited as the writer for the films like Anthony Kaun Hai? (2006), Ru Ba Ru (2008), Meerabai Not Out (2008) and Hum Tum Aur Ghost (2010), is directing the film. This is Sen's first directorial venture.
