The first shooting schedule of Anurag Kashyap’s Bombay Velvet is underway in Srilanka. Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma play lovers whose lives intermingle with the evolution of the city of Bombay through the 50s to early 70s in their next movie 'Bombay Velvet'. Director Anurag Kashyap is all set to recreate Bombay in Sri Lanka. The entire 'Bombay Velvet' team is off to the island country for the first schedule of the movie. Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, filmmaker Karan Johar, Kaykay, Satyadeep Mishra, vivaan shah and Manish Chaudhary along with director Anurag Kashyap are now in Sri Lanka. A source reveals, that the team is going to be in Sri Lanka for a 45 day schedule. Interestingly, director and producer Karan Johar will play an antagonist in the film.  Speaking to the press he said he feels awkward to act but is happy with the fact that Ranbir Kapoor will be by his side.
