King Khan- Shahrukh Khan suffered injury during filming of “Happy New year” which got worse during recurring injury during “Fan” shooting, his knee was in bad shape, and eventually actor had to undergo an arthroscopic knee surgery. The superstar's surgery of his left knee was performed at the Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai.

The doctors have advised him complete bed rest for at least three days.

Dr. Sanjay Desai, who performed the surgery on SRK, said, "Mr. Khan has been suffering from repeated pain and swelling of left knee over the last several months. Today's surgery confirms chondral wear of Patella, which is due to repeated injuries over the last few years. Based on today's arthroscopic evaluation, future management will be planned. He has recovered well and is likely to be discharged tomorrow"

SRK has been expressing about his injury and recurring pain ever since “Happy new Year”!

The star was busy shooting for his upcoming film "Raees" until before the surgery and now will taking a short break after his discharge from the hospital to recover properly.
