
Actor Shahid Kapoor reminisced his childhood memory at the "Kala Ghoda" festival in Mumbai on Saturday.He also inspired the audience present there with his pep talk.
He said, “Many years back I must have been fifteen or sixteen years old. Then, I did not know what to do in life. I was not a very good student. I used to dance well. I had a passion for art forms. Even though my parents were actors they used to wonder what is going to happen in my future.
Shiamak Davar is my first guru. So I remember, I had danced in one of his program. There were some 2000 people where I got best dancer award. I remember that was the most special moment for me because I was just 15 years old.”
The Haider actor added, “There were many people there who were better looking , richer, more established,more famous,more confident than me. Still, I got that recognition among all those people. That was when I got the feeling that I can do something in life.”
The “Padmavati” actor was present as a guest at the “Kala Ghoda” festival.He inaugurated the arts film festival at the event.
He said,“Kala Ghoda is a beautiful artistic platform. It is the unofficial art district of the city.These opportunities are so large and can be so definitive. All those who are trying to understand what can they do they get a chance to express themselves.”
Shahid will be seen next in the film “Padmavati” starring Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone.The film is being directed by filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali.It is slated to release on 17 th November 2017.
