With Acting in his DNA, Shahid Kapoor started off in Bollywood with a music video, which landed him his first movie, Ishq Vishq. Today the versatile actor, renowned dancer and amazing human being complete 14 years in Industry and expresses his gratitude and joy.

Now, the actor completes 14 years in the industry and Sasha as his fans fondly call him, took to Twitter to commemorate the occasion.

“Thanks peeps for the many wishes. 14 years of doing what I love. Beauty of cinema,you always feel like a student. Too much to learn” wrote Shahid Kapoor.

Movies like Vivah, Haider, Udta Punjab and Rangoon, Shahid Kapoor has definitely come a long way in Bollywood. Breaking his mould of boy-next-door, the actor has shown graph and depth in his varied work.

Shahid Kapoor also added that he has a long way to go, he wrote, “Too much to achieve. Too little time. Time to put my blinders on and run like there's no tomorrow. Gratitude and love. For believing in me”

The actor is currently shooting for the magnum opus Padmavati which is being helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

Shahid will be playing the role of Raja Rawal Ratan Singh, he will be starring alongside Deepika Padukone who plays Rani Padmini and Ranveer Singh who will be seen playing the antagonist, Alauddin Khilji.

Padmavati is slated to release on November 17, 2017.
