
Megastar Shah Rukh Khan led Red Chillies Entertainment to join hands with Netflix to make Bard Of Blood Web-series.
Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment has collaborated with Netflix to make an original series based on the book Bard of Blood. The book is penned by the young Indian author, Bilal Siddiqi.
Confirmation came from the official handle of Red Chillies, their tweet read, “Our first Original Series, in partnership with @netflix, is a multilingual thriller, based on @BilalS158’s book ’The Bard of Blood’. @iamsrk @reedhastings @VenkyMysore @_GauravVerma @NetflixIndia”

Bard of Blood will be made into an eight-episode high-octane political espionage thriller series. The book is based on the backdrop of the Indian subcontinent. It chronicles the tale of an expelled spy, Kabir Anand who is recalled from his new life as a Shakespeare professor in Panchgani to save his country and the long-lost love.
The Netflix official page also confirmed the news on social media. They released a video of Shahrukh Khan and Reed Hasting, the CEO and co-founder of Netflix.
The video is captioned, “Guess it's happening then. #Awkward #BardOfBlood @RedChilliesEnt @iamsrk”
On the work front, SRK is currently busy with Aanand L Rai’s next movie, which pairs him with Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif.
The untitled film is written by Himanshu Sharma and slated for 21 December 2018 release.
