Film Mary Kom starring Priyanka Chopra is one of the most awaited film of the year. The film happens to be a biopic on Olympic Medal Winning Boxer Mary Kom. The film is produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The producer praised Priyanka Chopra for the kind of role she has performed in the film as it was tough for her yet she pulled it off with ease. Sanjay compared priyanka to Hollywood actor Hilary Swank, who played a role of a boxer in her Oscar winning film ‘Million Dollar Baby’.
 
Sanjay said, "If they (Hollywood) have Hilary Swank, we have Priyanka. She is a great talent and adds spark to her performance. As an actress I think she is in the league of Nutanji and Waheedaji,"
 
Mary Kom is directed by Omung Kumar . Sanjay said that he did not take much time to start the project when Omung told him about the idea for the film.Sanjay said, "Omung told me about making film on Mary Kom around two years back, and I immediately said yes. There was no lengthy meetings or discussions,"

Mary Kom is slated for release on September 5th, on big screens.
