Reports are that the Kick actor has filed a petition seeking quashing of complaint filed against him, pleading that he had created a website only to ensure that there was no incorrect reporting by the media and said that no contempt had been committed by him.

The spokesperson of Salman said, “We have created a website called salmankhanfiles.com and we will put out all the information pertaining to the case on the site. So that whoever wants to know the progress on the case can follow it there.”

As reported earlier, ‘The Salman Khan Files’, a website opened by the Khan himself to update his fans on the on-going court cases against him, had got into trouble, when social activist Hemant Patil had filed a complaint in a Magistrate Court seeking action against Salman Khan. Patil claimed that the Bandra police station refused to register a complaint against the Mental actor and hence he decided to move the Magistrate Court. Salman’s next hearing will take place on September 5.
