It is not common for the big stars to bond with the cast and crew on the sets of the film. Some don’t get along well and some just don’t get time to get along well. But creative director of “Race 2” Jay Shewakramani says that Saif is different. It is learnt that Saif bonded very well with the cast and crew of “Race 2” especially with during their 2 months outdoor schedule. And just before they wrapped up the last schedule in Mumbai, Saif gifted Jay a high-end luxury brand suit.

Recalling the sweet gesture, Jay says, "Saif is a great guy and a big asset. He lends so much to the film." Pleased with the way the film has shaped up, he enthuses, "In fact, it looks better than what it seemed to be on paper. I think we have a good film and if all goes well, the audience will surely like the action, dialogue, styling and everything else that we have worked so hard on to make the film as it has turned out. The second installment of the popular franchise has all the ingredients to be a blockbuster."

Race is directed by Abbas-Mustan and produced under the Tips Music Films banner. It is the sequel to the 2008 hit film, Race. The film stars Saif Ali Khan, John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Jacqueline Fernandez and Ameesha Patel and slated to release on January 25, 2013.
