Know for his performance on the silver screen Ranveer Singh is one such actor who has proved himself as an actor with every film. His upcoming film Bajirao Mastani is a period love story set in 17th century of Maratha. The most ambitious project of Sanjay Leela Bhansali which he wanted to make since 10 years. Ranveer Singh has given complete one year to this film and took physical and career challenge but now Ranveer think all the sacrifices he made for the film is worth it.

 

In the interview for the film when asked about the risk attached this talented actor said, "Every film is a risk. No body has formula to know what going to be a success. You should trust your instinct. When came to know what kind of part it is. What kind of things I am going to do and what a powerful story it was I got really excited. At the critical stage of my career to give more than one year to a film, shave my hair off and not to do anything else. Taking a risk is the big gamble. But I think somewhere or the other I knew the payoff would be worth it. When I decide to do the film many of my well wisher and adviser told me one year for one project  is a big risk and now the same people after watching the trailer said now we understood why you did it and its good that you did it."

 

Adding further Ranveer Singh said, "At the naration level I knew it that this is a war film and its canvas is huge and I have to work really hard. Every month I used to work for 22 days and 7 days off. The 7 days were to recover from the 22 days of intense scene. There is no easy day when you are working on Sanjay Leela Bhansali films. At every level it was a difficult film.  The time it consumed three films would have being made in the same time."

 

Ranveer will be seen as a Maratha Peshwa Bajirao and Deepika will be seen as Mastani Peshwa's second wife whereas Priyanka Chopra portrayed the character of Peshwa's first wife Kashibai.

The film is slated to release on 18th December.
