Evergreen Beauty and veteran Actress Rekha was all praises for Aamir Khan at the special screening of forthcoming musical Secret Superstar.

Rekha, who doesn’t show up screenings or function that often praised the actor in her own style and expressed that Aamir Khan has given her an award, which will last a lifetime.

“I don’t know anything about the awards but today Aamir Khan has given me the biggest award, you see, what is an award? It is a blessing; it is a reassurance, and love, that is all Aamir Khan has given me today. First time when I met him, he showed me all that but today the quantum has increased a Zillion time more and it will last my lifetime. Please do watch his film” said Rekha talking about Aamir Khan.

Rekha also talked about Aamir Khan’s performance, which according to legend is showing light to the sun.

“Talking about Aamir Khan’s performance is like showing light to the Sun; all I am going to say, God bless you, Aamir Khan, be happy and prosper” added Rekha.

Secret Superstar, the film revolves around Insia, a 14-year-old girl who desires to be a singer much to the chagrin of her dad. She then decides to make her own YouTube channel in which she posts videos of herself singing while covering her face in a burkha. She is then scouted by Aamir's character who is a music director and is impressed by Insia's musical gift.

Secret Superstar is an upcoming musical drama film, written and directed by Advait Chandan and produced by Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao.

The film features Zaira Wasim, Meher Vij and Aamir Khan in lead roles, and tells the story of a child who aspires to be a singer.
The movie opens in theatres on 19th October 2017.
