After the success of Student Of The Year, Karan Johar had mentioned his desire to work again in his comfort zone with big stars. He has also planned to make a period based love story the idea conceived by his father late Yash Johar. Though to not everyone’s surprise he has asked good friend Shah Rukh Khan to play the lead role, what is troubling him the most is the actor for the second lead.

Karan has apparently approached Ranbir Kapoor for the role but Ranbir is not too keen on playing a second fiddle to Khan given the success rate of his solo films Rockstar and Barfi!. He is in no mood to do a multi-starrer film at this point of his career. Though having previously worked with Dharma Productions in Wake Up Sid! And currently filming for Yeh Jawaani hai Diwani, Ranbir is still taking much time to give his consent to the project. He has neither said no nor yes to Karan. Well all we can say is that that is still the charisma of 47 year old SRK leaving youngsters insecure.
