It might be little surprising to hear that director of Agent Vinod (which flopped without being able to make any mark at the Indian Box Office), might direct the movie that'll mark the revival of the RK banner.

It’s been a while that Ranbir Kapoor announced his intentions of reviving his grandfather, the late Raj Kapoor’s production banner. Ranbir was recently approached by director Sriram Raghavan with a script. After listening to it, Ranbir felt this could be just the right film for the banner. He has sought help from dad Rishi Kapoor to supervise the script and to make sure that it turns out to be a commercial film. Rishi will eventually be producing the film.

No doubt Ranbir’s intentions are well n good and  we're indeed happy to hear that the great banner is soon going to be revived, but here's hoping that the Kapoors are sure of who they're dealing with here, considering the fate Raghavan's last movie met with.
