Veteran actor Rajkummar Rao graced the Red Carpet event of Stars Screen Awards here in Mumbai. During his media interaction Rajkummar expressed that if he wins Oscar for Newton, he would like to receive his award from Meryl Streep or Daniel Day-Lewis.

“I would like to get my Oscars from Meryl Streep or Daniel Day Louis or anyone will do, as long as I get it,” said Rajkummar Rao talking about winning an Oscars.

Rajkummar Rao was named the Best Actor (Critics) for Newton. Along with this, he also won the Best Supporting Actor award for Bareilly Ki Barfi at the Stars Screen Awards.

Talking further about Oscars, Rajkummar Rao expressed that he is not dreaming about the Award. He said, “I am not dreaming about Oscars. I know it is better to be just neutral and be happy about the fact that it is India’s official entry for the Oscars this year”

In 2017, actor Rajkummar Rao became the only actor to release six successful movies in a row, expressed that it is indeed a “Sixer”.

“It is kind of Sixer! I am happy about the fact that most of my films did well and people like my efforts and sincerity” added Rajkummar.

Rajkummar Rao also added that he will be gracing the Red Carpet of Oscars with his entire Newton team.

In 2018, the actor Rajkummar Rao is all set to hit another sixer, as he has lined up six different releases. Such as Love Sonia, 5 Weddings, Omerta, Shimla Mirchi, Fanney Khan and Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To Aisa Laga.
