
Hansal Mehta directorial Chhalaang which is set in a small town in Uttar Pradesh, starring Rajkummar Rao and Nushrat Bharucha has been shifted again, and now the film will hit the marquee on 12th June 2020.
Produced by Ajay Devgn, Luv Ranjan, Ankur Garg and Bhushan Kumar, the film is social drama with a message, revolving around a teacher and students, was slated for 13 March 2020, but now it will release on 12 June 2020.
The official handle of Luv Films dropped a new poster and release date of the film on social media. It said, “Ab Lenge #Chhalaang 12th June Ko! Masterji Khilayen Kaise? Rajkummar Rao and Hansal Mehta's next Chhalaang was earlier titled Turram Khan and was slated for 31st January 2020. This is second time the film has been postponed.
The film also stars Saurbh Shukla, Jatin Sarna and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub in pivotal roles. The director-actor duo has already worked together for multiple critically-acclaimed movies like Citylights, Shahid and Omerta to name a few. The duo will make a comeback to the silver screen once again for Chhalaang.
Rajkummar and Nushrat, on the other hand, have also shared the screen earlier, for Dibakar Banerjee's 2010 anthology drama Love Sex Aur Dhokha.
