Finally the official poster along with release date of “5 Weddings” is out, the movie stars Rajkummar Rao and Nargis Fakhri in the lead roles.

Veteran actor Rajkummar Rao and Nargis Fakhri are all set to be seen in their first movie together 5 Weddings. The film is helmed by Indo-American director Namrata Singh Gujral.

On the poster, Rajkummar is seen in cop avatar while Nargis plays the role of a journalist, who covers weddings in India. They both are seen posing against the backdrop of a wedding destination.

5 Weddings is directed by the Indo-American director, Namrata Singh Gujral, the story revolves around an American journalist traveling to India to cover Bollywood weddings, only to have a liaison officer assigned to the project, whose sole job is to prevent any journalistic espionage under India's Censorship Laws. As the coverage of Bollywood weddings unfolds, so does a colorful mosaic of lost loves, transgender tangles and culture clashes along the heartfelt journey of life, symbolized by the universal ups and downs of a wedding celebration.

The movie also stars Oscar nominee Candy Clark, Golden Globe nominee Bo Derek and Dutch-American actor Anneliese Van der Pol in pivotal roles.

The film is slated for 24 August 2018 release.
