Varun Dhawan’s most awaited and critical movie this year, will be releasing today. Recently the makers of the movie organized a special screening for close friends and cast of the film. 

David Dhawan, Krishika Lulla, Divya Dutta, Satish Kaushik, Tabu, Dinesh Vijan, Sri Ram Raghavan, Kumar Taurani, Rohit Dhawan and Radhika Apte were present during the event.

Sriram Raghavan directed "Badlapur" ; noir crime drama, apparently first ever attempt at grey character from Varun, who is famous for his romantic comedy genre.

Varun plays the protagonist, actress Yami Gautam plays the role of his wife, Huma Qureshi plays the role of a prostitute, while Nawazuddin is the antagonist. The film also features Divya Dutta and Radhika Apte in important roles.

Intense, Violent and grey movie tells the story of a man who takes revenge from his wife's killer.

While comparison is obvious as Nawazuddin is a seasoned actor, who have done all genre, to this Radhika Apte said, “that there is no Comparison between Varun Dhawan and Nawazuddin both are the best.”
