Actors Ayushmann Khurrana and Vaani Kapoor are collaborating for the first time in director Abhishek Kapoor’s upcoming film, the film is now titled Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui.

Actor Ayushmann just took to his social media profile and dropped the first day shoot stills, also confirmed the name of the movie, along with a little sneak-peek into progressive love story of cross functional athlete.

He tweeted, “Next stop: My hometown Chandigarh for the first time...Excited to be a part of Abhishek Kapoor's delightful progressive love story #ChandigarhKareAashiqui. Khurrana plays a cross-functional athlete in the film and he has undergone physical transformation for the project, billed as a ‘lovely, heartrending film’ in which he plays an athlete.

Meanwhile, Vaani Kapoor will also be seen in Akshay Kumar’s Bell Bottom and Ranbir Kapoor’s Shamshera.

On the other hand, Ayushmann Khurrana was last seen in Gulabo Sitabo with Amitabh Bachchan. The film, due to the novel coronavirus pandemic, opted for a digital release.
