Actress Yami Gautam Dhar just took to her social media and expressed her sadness over the landslide which took place in Kinnaur, Himachal Pradesh, claiming many lives.

A major landslide took place in Kinnaur district, Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday. The incident is feared to have buried more than 40 people under the debris. Deputy commissioner Abid Hussain Sadiq, stated that several vehicles, including a Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) bus carrying over 40 passengers, are currently buried under the debris, as reported.

Hailing from the region, Yami Gautam Dhar took to her social media and expressed, “Really sad to read about another landslide in Kinnaur, Himachal! Praying for the safety of people who are stuck...Praying for the ones affected & their families! Please be safe while travelling, especially during this weather”

Yami also urged people to practice safety while travelling during bad weather, especially in Hilly areas.

Meanwhile on the work front, Yami Gautam has lined-up 4 movies for release this year, such as Bhoot Police, Dasvi, A Thursday and Lost.

Gautam will also be seen essaying the role of Naina Jaiswal, a playschool teacher who takes 16 children as hostages in Behzad Khambata's thriller A Thursday, alongside Neha Dhupia and Atul Kulkarni.
