Prabhu Deva- the ace choreographer, actor-cum-director said he didn’t want Sonakshi to expose. Prabhu Deva who made his debut as a director in Bollywood with Wanted is directing yet another film titled Rowdy Rathore which stars Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi in lead roles. While speaking to media at a recent event Prabhu Deva said, "I am happy I have received a very good response. Earlier, people would view me only as a choreographer. They now look up to me as director. There is a marked difference. Earlier, I would come down for just four or five days. I am now having longer meetings and with many more people." Prabhu Deva is actually determined to revive the action-genre back with Rowdy Rathore. He said, "I am a very small part of this revival. Every one out of hundred people are working on this genre. And while it's a good space to be, other genres like love, romance, comedy etc. are also good."When he was questioned by the media on the restrictions and limits that Sonakshi keeps over her role and whether he found it difficult to manage through the shoots he says , “Not at all. When you see the film, you will realise. In fact, we too were very happy because even we didn't want to expose. Both she and Akshay Kumar were tailor-made for the role." He also did not forget to add the note about his new producer Sanjay Leela Bhansali "His biggest input is the title Rowdy that he has given. Otherwise he never interfered. He only came for the mahurat for half an hour. As a producer, he is superb."

It is to be noted that Rowdy Rathore is the remake of the Telugu movie Vikramarkudu which was then remade in Tamil with the title Siruthai. Both the films were a super-duper hit. So, naturally much is expected from the Hindi remake when it comes to the box-office level.
