Dibakar seems to be finding it tough to manage his actors. Firstly Abhay Deol was upset with Dibakar for focusing more on Emraan Hashmi in Shanghai. Now an actor from the same film is miffed with director. News is Pitobash Tripathy who played the role of Bhagu in Shangai is angry over Dibakar for not involving him in film’s promotions.
The angry actor was quoted saying, "I wasn't informed about anything- the first look, the music launch and not even the world premiere of the film. On the day of the music launch, some reporters called me up and asked as to why I was not there at the event. This was when I got to know that the event was taking place. It is unfair that I was kept in the dark. He (Dibakar) gave me such a big role and it was great working with him but I didn't expect this from him or his own production house. Dibakar's all bulls**t. I don't come from a filmy family, so when you work with such people, you hope that they will support and promote you."
Pitobash Tripathy started acting as a debutant with the movie 99. He then performed in 3 Idiots in an supporting role. Later, he acted in I Am Kalam directed by Nila Madhab Panda and Shor in the City. He also acted in the movie Mirch in five different roles. He is also working in Shirish's Coming up Film Joker
