Amidst of brewing controversies, the makers of Padmavati unveils a new poster along with second song teaser on social media.
The makers of the film released the poster on social media. The new poster features Shahid Kapoor from upcoming mega-movie Padmavati as Rana Ratan Singh, the ruler of Mewar.
In the poster, Shahid Kapoor, who is playing the role of Maha Rawal Ratan Singh is looking royal as ever. He is seen wearing a lavender silk antariya with golden orange detailing which has block prints on it. He teamed it up with minimal royal jewellery and silk juttis.
If the poster was not enough to get the fans going, the official page of Padmavati also announced the second song of the film, which is titled Ek Dil Ek Jaan and the song will be out soon!
The page released a video with lyrics of the song. Their caption read, “#EkDilEkJaan out tomorrow. Stay tuned! @deepikapadukone @shahidkapoor @Viacom18Movies @Bhansali_Prod @TSeries”
After Ghoomar, this will be the second song of the film and we are excited!
Padmavati, the magnum opus is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, based on the epic poem Padmavat (1540) by Malik Muhammad Jayasi. The film features Deepika Padukone in the title role as Rani Padmavati, alongside Shahid Kapoor as Rawal Ratan Singh and Ranveer Singh as Alauddin Khilji, with Aditi Rao Hydari and Jim Sarbh in supporting roles.
The film is scheduled for release on 1 December 2017.
