Director Omung Kumang has been very well appreciated from all over for his Directional work in ‘Mary Kom’. Priyanka Chopra starrer ‘Mary Kom’ was omung Kumar’s first directional film in Bollywood. The film was a biopic on five times world boxing champion Mary Kom.  It is being said that the director is busy adding final touches to his next script.

According to reports from a leading tabloid, The film is based on documented historic events but told from an Indian perspective. He is currently developing the script. A few studios have already shown interest. The subject demanded extensive research and will involve a lot of VFX. Talks with various actors are on.

Omung has asserted that a film on World War I is on his mind because no one has ever attempted a period drama of that era and he believes that there are many stories that are waiting to be told on the silver screen. He also assured that the cast will be finalized soon. According to sources, this untitled project will be male-centric with lots of dramatic elements added to it .
