Superstitious Govinda religiously follows this advice and avoid giving cheques or cash in the middle of the week.

A source close to the actor said, "Anybody who comes to collect their payments on Thursday are sent back empty-handed and are told to come the next day. Govinda considers it inauspicious to make payments on Thursday." The actor also makes it a point to consult an astrologer for the right time in the day to make payments," said the source.
