Remember the song from Chaalbaaz picturised on Sridevi, Na jaane kahan se aayee hai yeh ladki. It was a rage when the film released. In fact, it is still a huge hit, so much so that when producer Goldie Behl and Bhushan Kumar of T-Series were thinking up a promotional song for the film I, Me Aur Main, they decided to use this song.

Behl loved Kumar’s idea and shared it with his director Kapil Sharma. The latter tweaked the number, replacing ladki with ladka. Since the film is a new-age romance where the hero succumbs to love at first sight (multiple times), the song perfectly blended with the theme of the film. The song was picturised on John Abraham and the two leading ladies of the film, Chitrangda Singh and Prachi Desai, at Kamalistan Studios recently.

The Brother-sister duo Goldie Behl and Shrishti Arya decided to shoot this song at Kamalistan Studios because the studio has changed their lives. When they began making television serials, they kept churning them out, one after another, all of them shot at the same studio, for four years, non-stop. We’re sure the studio will shower luck on their film I, Me Aur Main too.
